 Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy inaugurated the much-anticipated Kaloji Kalakshetram in Hanumakonda on Tuesday. This new cultural hub fulfils a long-cherished dream of the people and artists of the region.


The Chief Minister reached at KUDA Grounds helipad in Hanumakonda at 2:30 PM in a special helicopter from Hyderabad's Begumpet Airport. From there Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Batti Vikramarka and other ministers Proceeded to Kaloji Kalakshetram chief minister along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka unveiled a bronze statue of the poet. Later launched a series of development projects worth ₹4,601.15 crores via a virtual plaque unveiling. Later Shri Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Kalakshetram building by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. 


The Chief Minister visited an art gallery located on the ground floor of the Kalakshethram, which showcases rare photographs, personal belongings, and awards of Kaloji Narayana Rao.  Kaloji Foundation representatives VR Vidyarthi and Potlapalli Srinivas Rao briefed the chief minister about the exhibits. Shri Revanth Reddy expressed keen interest in the artefacts, which offer a glimpse into the poet’s personal and professional life.


Later In the auditorium, the Chief Minister watched a short film documenting Kaloji’s contributions to Telangana’s cultural and literary heritage. Prominent writers Ampsayya Naveen and Banna Ilaiah honoured the chief minister with a shawl and bouquet. Following this, the chief minister interacted with Indira Fellowship members, and local public representatives.

Kaloji Kalakshetram: ₹90 crores


Underground Drainage System: ₹4,170 crores


Narcotics Police Station: ₹12 lakhs


Nayeem Nagar Bridge: ₹8.30 crores


Development Projects in Warangal East: ₹3 crores


Polytechnic College: ₹28 crores


Kakatiya Mega Textile Park - R&R Layout and Indiramma Housing: 863 plots; ₹43.15 crores


Flood Drainage System: ₹160.3 crores


Facilities at Kakatiya Mega Textile Park Township: ₹13 crores


Road Development in Warangal Urban: ₹49.50 crores


Expansion of Parakala to Erragattu Gutta Road (4 lanes): ₹65 crores


Infrastructure at Kakatiya Mega Textile Park: ₹11.6 crores


Urdu Bhavan in Warangal LB Nagar: ₹1.50 crores
