Congress and BJP Lag Behind in Election Campaign in Telangana; CM KCR Launches Campaign from Husnabad
Amidst the fervent election campaigning for the upcoming Telangana State Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken a noticeable lead in launching its campaign. While the BJP has already conducted two substantial rallies, the other prominent political parties are yet to officially kick start their campaign efforts. Notably, the BJP's campaign events have garnered substantial public support, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing a gathering in Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad and Home Minister Amit Shah making his presence felt in Adilabad
The BRS's proactive approach has set a strong tone for the elections, engaging in impactful rallies and presenting their election manifesto. Party leaders, including K.T. Rama Rao and Harish Rao, have actively participated in these campaign events.
However, in contrast, the Congress party has not initiated its campaign as of now. In stark contrast, the BJP has already started to spread its message directly to the public, creating a visible presence in the state.
It's important to mention that the Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao, has begun his election campaign from Husnabad, which he did in the last elections. This strategic move emphasizes his intent to maintain a strong foothold in the political landscape. Despite his limited public appearances due to health concerns, he is actively involved in shaping the election manifesto for the upcoming polls.
As of now, the Congress and BJP remain the only parties with nominated candidates for the elections. With the BJP's active campaign efforts gaining momentum, it remains to be seen how voter sentiments will evolve in the coming days.
