The Kakatiya Institute of Technology And Science, Warangal Alumni Association (KITSWAA), organized a grand celebration of the "Alumni Meet and Silver Jubilee Batch (Class of 1998) Reunion" at the Auditorium (NLR Shed) on the KITS Warangal campus.
2. Distinguished Guests and Congratulations
The event, held on December 23, 2023, at 11:00 AM, was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Honourable former MP, Rajya Sabha, KITSW Chairman, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, and KITSW Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy. Husnabad constituency former MLA and KITSW management member, Sri. V. Sathish Kumar, and other management members extended their congratulations to the Silver Jubilee Alumni batch (Class of 1998).
3. Keynote Address
C. Sridhar Reddy, President of KITSWAA-Hyderabad Chapter, served as the chief guest for the inaugural function. He highlighted the association's commitment to supporting current KITSW students through various initiatives, including seminars, workshops, and internships. With over 20,000 students registered in the KITSWAA during its 44-year existence, he applauded the institute's growth and the dedicated efforts of its management, faculty, and staff.
4. Words of Wisdom
Reddy advised students to prioritize self-esteem, maintain strong relationships, and reflect on past experiences. He emphasized the importance of learning from mistakes, considering them as pillars for a successful career.
5. Alumni Contributions and Recognitions
The alumni of the Silver Jubilee Batch (1998) demonstrated their commitment to the institute by donating 2.95 lacs for establishing an IoT lab in the Department of ECE. Proud alumnus Rajendra Prasad (CE), Dharavath Panthula (ME), Ramesh (EEE), and Anupama (CSE) acknowledged their responsibility in bridging the gap between the institute and the industry.
In a heartwarming gesture, the Silver Jubilee Batch honored their teachers and retired professors with shawls and mementos. The event also showcased the active involvement of the KITSWAA in supporting the institute through its interactive website and fostering strong ties between alumni and the institute.
The celebration witnessed the participation of 300 alumni members from across the globe, along with the institute's management members, faculty, and staff.
