Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science Warangal (KITSW) has been honored with the prestigious ISTE Best Faculty Chapter Award for Telangana Section for the academic year 2023-2024. The award was conferred during the 53rd ISTE National Annual Convention held on June 22, 2024, at Bhubaneswar.
Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, former MP Rajya Sabha and Chairman of KITSW, announced, "ISTE KITSW has been recognized with the Best Faculty Chapter Award for Telangana Section, highlighting its exceptional leadership and extensive activities within the state." Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy added, "This recognition reaffirms KITSW's dedication to providing high-quality education and fostering innovation."
Accepting the award on behalf of KITSW, Prof. K. Rajanarender Reddy, National Executive Member and Head of C-i2RE (Centre for Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship), expressed gratitude to various dignitaries present, including Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Prof. Pratap Singh Kaka Saheb Desai, Prof. Deepak Kumar Behera, Prof. Saranjit Singh, Prof. Prashanta Routray, Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, and Dr. Syed Majid Ali from ISTE, New Delhi.
Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao also congratulated Prof. K. Rajanarender Reddy for receiving the Distinguished Alumni Teacher Award for 2024, acknowledging his achievements with a shawl and memento from the KITSW management and Principal.
The event was attended by Treasurer Sri. P. Narayana Reddy, KITSW Additional Secretary Vodithala Sateesh Kumar, and other esteemed members of the KITSW community. Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy stressed the importance of active participation in ISTE workshops, conferences, and interactive sessions to enhance the knowledge and skills of faculty and students alike.
The occasion showcased KITSW's commitment to academic excellence and leadership in technical education, with Registrar Prof. M. Komal Reddy, Administrative Officer Prof. P. Ramesh Reddy, Chairman of ISTE KITSW Chapter Dr. H. Ramesh Babu, and several other faculty members in attendance.
