INAUGURAL CEREMONY OF KITSW STUDENT ACTIVITY CENTER (SAC) HELD AT KITS WARANGAL CAMPUS
The SAC New Executive Student Body is formed for the academic year 2024-25- KITSW.
The Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW), Student Activity Center (SAC) is formed with a new executive body for the academic year 2024-25 and inaugurated by lighting the lamp at NLR shed (Auditorium), KITS Warangal campus on Friday.
The Rajyasabha former Member and KITSW Charman Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, KITSW treasurer P. Narayana Reddy and principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy conveyed their wishes to the SAC new student executive body.
On this occasion the Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy addressed that students must acquire the required skill set with practical and startup exposure by participating in the extra curricular and cocurricular activities. It leads to developing their problem solving abilities, leadership skills and lateral thinking. All the departments such as Civil Engineering(CE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electronics and communication Engineering(ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE-N), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE-M), Information Technology (IT), Department of Physical Sciences (PS), Department of Mathematics & Humanities (M&H) and MBA, were actively involved in this event. The planning and implementing the SAC activities systematically for the all round development of students throughout the academic year is an important challenge. He also congratulated the new SAC student team such as General secretaries, joint secretaries and executive members.
On this occasion dean student affairs, Prof. M. Sreelatha said that it is the platform to showcase the students' advanced technical and humanity skills and ethical values. Take up interdisciplinary project work to implement startup culture and come up with new ideas related to the real world for innovation and entrepreneurship development. The students must have ownership of learning to face new technological challenges in the multidisciplinary fields. Active participation in SAC activities also will develop personality development skills and communication skills.
According to the associate Dean, student affairs, M. Narsimha Rao said that SAC consists of Ten (10) clubs such as Music, Dance & Fine arts (MDF), Photography and Media Club (PMC), Humanity Club, NCC club, NSS club, Sports & Games club, Literary Club, Technical club, ISTE-KITSW CHAPTER and Disciplinary club. All these clubs are functioning effectively to inculcate leadership skills and students will make industry ready engineers.
In this program KITSW dean student affairs & EIE department, Prof. M. Sreelatha, associate Dean & Associate professor of EEE, M. Narsimha Rao(MDF club), Associate professor of Chemistry & PRO, Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary (PMC), Faculty incharges: Dr. CH. Sateesh Chandra (NSS Club), Capt. Dr. M. Ranadheer Kumar(NCC club), Sri. S. Ramesh (Literary Club), Dr. C. Srinivas Rao (Humanity Club), Head, PEDm Dr. M. Srinivas Reddy (Sports & Games club), Dr. B. Vijay Kumar (Technical club) and Dr. P. Nagarjuna Reddy (Disciplinary club), MDF Club Dr. PSS Murthy & Dr. Ch. Sridevi Reddy, all the deans, all the HoDs, Student coordinator, student General Secretaries of various clubs such as, MDF club- H. Srigouri Jaahnavi & M. Saketh, PMC-M. Kiril Pravarsh, Humanity Club-Md. Asif Abubakar, NCC club-B. Pavani, NSS Club-G. Manohar, Sports & Games club-P. Bharath Kumar Reddy, Technical club-V. Siddartha & Nishath Sultana, ISTE-A. Abhicharan and Literary Club- Maryam Yasmeen, 400 above students from KITSW were actively involved and the event was a grand success.
