Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW) is celebrating "41st Graduation Day for Seventh autonomous batches (2020-24)" on 16th November, 2024, at Play fields KITSW Campus with excellent record of student achievements and aclauds said by the former Rajya Sabha MP, KITSW Governing Body(GoB) Chairman, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao.
This event is inaugurated by the chief guest, Vice-Chancellor, Kakatiya University, Warangal, Prof. K. Pratap Reddy in association with the guest of honour the Registrar, Kakatiya University, Warangal, Prof. P. Malla Reddy, Ex. MP RS & KITSW GB, Chairman, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao. Treasurer P. Narayan Reddy, Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, management members and KITSW AAC members by lighting the lamp.
The Ex. Rajya Sabha Member and KITSW, Governing Body Chairman, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao declared the 'Graduation Day Open' after that overall institute report successfully presented by the Principal, Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy.
On this occasion, the chief guest, Vice-Chancellor, Kakatiya University, Warangal, Prof. K. The student has to improve the problem solving abilities through critical thinking, skills regarding start-up ecosystems to best fit in the industry as an engineer. India is an ambitious country. Sky is the limit for the student community to achieve the highest esteem. They contribute in a bigway for the betterment of the society. Launch corporate industrial offices through start-ups. Malla Reddy, While technological progress is essential, let us not forget the foundation that propels us forward i.e. academic excellence. Your commitment to learning and intellectual growth is the bedrock upon which your future endeavours will stand. Emphasize academics, but also cultivate a holistic approach to education that encompasses critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. About fifteen faculty members have Ph.D guideship at Kakatiya University, and some faculty members are registered for Ph.D. program under field of engineering discipline, Kakatiya University. They have been publishing research papers in the journals of I.F, SCI, EI and SCOPUS. That way, both the institutions are mutually benefited at an individual level and institutional level.
The Ex. M.P, Rajya Sabha.and KITSW Governing Body Chairman, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao gave the presidential remarks. Utilize the innovation incubation Research and Entrepreneurship facilities and develop your critical thinking to solve the real world problems. He highlighted that it is a commencement day in building the society by the dynamic graduands of KITS warangal with their continuous success in life. Commence to fast change in technology. The present generation is born in the technology world. If they are not developed on-par with the latest technology there is a lot of change. changes were taking place daily. He suggested that the engineers must work on real world problems but not for money by keeping in mind the disparities between rural and urban demands.
On this occasion Principal, KITS Warangal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy said that the pass percentage of 2020-2024 passed-out batch is more than 94.26%. All eligible B.Tech courses (CE, ME, CSE, EEE, ECE, CSM, CSN, CSO, IT, E&I) are re-accredited by the NBA under Tier-I format. KITSW is Gold category institute by AICTE-CII Ranking for sixth consecutive year and AAAA rated institute for the years 2023 & 2024. There were 28 gold medals awarded for the overall academic excellence in various engineering disciplines for the last academic year. Our students have been trained technically superior and ethically strong by providing advanced version of technology and highly qualified faculty to the all ten departments. The institute witnessed good placement seasons over the last few years, with 82% in 2022-23 & 61 % in 2023-24 in multinational companies. The institute has over 27,150 alumni base who are well placed across the globe and are holding responsible positions in industry, academia, and research. So far, 18,205 students graduated in B.Tech., 1874 students graduated in M.Tech. and 900 students graduated in MBA. The faculty had published 458 papers in Journals and 368 papers in Conference proceedings during last five years. KITSW has 32 MOUs with multinational companies and Govt. research centers. The progress that we witnessed during this academic year is indeed the result of collaborative effort by the team of KITSW.
