Jangaon, November 3:
Former District Governor Lion Kanna Parashuramulu has been appointed as the Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.) for the Multiple Council of Lions Multiple District 320, which comprises eight Lions districts across Telangana State.
The appointment was officially announced through an email by Multiple Council Chairman Lion T. Rajendra Prasad, who expressed confidence that Lion Parashuramulu would strengthen the image and reputation of the Lions organization through effective public relations initiatives.
Expressing his gratitude, Lion Kanna Parashuramulu thanked the Chairman for the trust placed in him. A veteran in the Lions movement, he joined the organization in 1984–85 and has been an active force in its growth and service activities.
He first served as the Charter President of Lions Club Jangaon Abad in 1992, marking the beginning of an illustrious leadership journey. Over the years, he has held several key positions, including Zone Chairman, Region Chairman, District P.R.O., Extension Chairman, and District Cabinet Secretary, earning wide recognition for his commitment and leadership.
In 2020, he was elected as Second Vice District Governor, later serving as the District Governor of Lions District 320F during 2022–23. Under his leadership, all 64 Club Presidents, 100% Region Chairpersons, Zone Chairpersons, and District Secretariat Team members were honored with the International President’s Excellence Award.
During his tenure, he successfully mobilized USD 46,000 in contributions to the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and established nine new clubs, achieving a net membership growth of 305 — a remarkable milestone in the district’s history.
Known for his humility, teamwork, and dedication, Lion Kanna Parashuramulu continues to command immense respect and affection among the Lions fraternity.
