Minister Seethakka Inaugurates New DCCB Bank Premises and Fertilizer Godown in Mulugu District

Mulugu, July 22:Minister Dhanasari Anasuya Seethakka and TSCAB Chairman Marneni Ravinder Rao inaugurated the newly Located premises of the District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) and a fertilizer godown in the Mulugu District on Tuesday.

The new DCCB branch premises in Mulugu district headquarters and another newly built facility in Eturunagaram mandal were officially opened during the day. Additionally, a fertilizer storage godown in Mangapet mandal was also inaugurated.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Seethakka highlighted the government’s efforts to support farmers through interest-free loans, gold loans, and credit to women’s self-help groups via cooperative banks. She emphasized that the DCCB branches are being set up even in remote areas to ensure easier access to financial services for farmers.

“Between 2018 and December 2023, we waived farm loans for all eligible farmers. Under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, we deposited ₹9,000 crore into farmers’ accounts in just nine days. The full credit goes to the Chief Minister,” she said. Despite financial constraints, the state is committed to continuing welfare schemes for farmers, she added.

TSCAB Chairman Ravinder Rao expressed happiness over the inauguration of the new Premises, noting it would help provide improved services to both customers and farmers. “Since its inception, DCCB has been growing steadily and is now moving forward with projected transactions of ₹2,296 crore for 2024–25 in the combined district,” he said.

He also said that agricultural loans, Krushi Mitra loans, gold loans, and educational loans are being provided to customers and farmers in Mulugu municipality, Eturunagaram, and nearby areas. He assured that efforts are ongoing to further expand banking services in the region.

The event was attended by DCCB CEO Wazeer Sultan, Additional Collector Mahender Ji, DCCB GM Usha Sri, DGM Ashok, AGM Sravanthi, bank managers K. Narender and Tirupati, Tahsildar Vijay Bhaskar, DCCB board members Madugula Ramesh, Polepaka Srinivas, Kakkirala Hariprasad, Dongala Ramesh, Konda Narender, local PACS chairpersons Bokka Satti Reddy, Kasarla Kumara Swamy, Pannala Ellareddy, along with bank staff, society members, former public representatives, leaders, and party workers.
