NSS KITSW and MYBHARAT Warangal Organize Inter-State Youth Exchange programme and cultural Fest


Warangal, February 6, 2026:
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW), in collaboration with MYBHARAT Warangal, successfully organized an Inter-State Youth Exchange Programme and Cultural Fest at the KITSW Auditorium, said Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy.


The programme was conducted under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, with the participation of youth delegates from Kerala, aiming to promote national integration, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding among students from different states.
The event was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof. M. Swarnalatha, Head of the Department, Kakatiya University, Warangal, by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Addressing the gathering, Prof. Swarnalatha said that the inter-state youth exchange programme celebrates the historical, cultural, and architectural grandeur of Warangal and Telangana, offering an opportunity to explore the ancient soul of India’s youngest state. She emphasized that such platforms enable students to interact, share traditions, and appreciate India’s rich cultural diversity.
The programme featured a range of cultural performances, interactive sessions, and engaging activities, highlighting the spirit of unity in diversity. Traditional art forms, music, and dance performances from Telangana and Kerala enthralled the audience and reflected the vibrant heritage of both regions.
Dean of Student Affairs Prof. K. Sridhar stated that NSS volunteers of the Student Activity Centre (SAC), KITSW, played a pivotal role in organizing and coordinating the event, ensuring smooth execution and enthusiastic participation. He added that the programme encouraged youth leadership, teamwork, and cross-cultural learning, strengthening bonds among young participants.
The event was attended by Deputy Director, MYBHARAT Warangal Office, Ch. Anvesh, Sri Devilal, Dean of Student Affairs Prof. K. Sridhar, NSS Programme Officer and Associate Professor of Physics Dr. Ch. Satish Chandra, all Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members, staff, and Associate Professor of Chemistry and PRO Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary.
Students from Kerala, including Nandhana and Anandh, along with student representatives Shrijani, Vatsalya, Shreshta, N. Samhitha, Srilasya, Saisumanth, Shouryan, Saidhanush, and over 200 NSS volunteers and more than 100 youth from Kerala, actively participated, making the programme a grand success.
