Warangal, Nov 22, 2025:
The Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW) celebrated its 42nd Graduation Day for the 8th autonomous batch (2021–25) on Saturday at the campus play fields, marking an impressive record of academic accomplishments.
A total of 16 Gold Medals, 15 Academic Merit Awards, and degrees for B.Tech., M.Tech., and MBA graduates were presented during the ceremony, informed Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, former Rajya Sabha MP and Chairman of the KITSW Governing Body.
Ceremony Inauguration
The event was formally inaugurated by Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director, NIT Warangal, in the presence of
• Prof. V. Ramchandram, Registrar, Kakatiya University (Guest of Honour)
• Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Chairman, KITSW GoB
• Treasurer Sri P. Narayana Reddy
• Principal K. Ashoka Reddy
• Management and Academic Council members
The dignitaries lit the ceremonial lamp to begin the proceedings.
Inspirational Address by NITW Director
In his keynote speech, Prof. Subudhi advised students to be bold in ambition yet humble in conduct.
He emphasized:
• Technical knowledge is only a tool;
• Integrity, lifelong learning, and service to society must guide their careers;
• The future will be shaped by AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and rapid technological change.
He added that failures are learning experiences and encouraged students to maintain a healthy work–life balance.
Guest of Honour’s Message
Prof. V. Ramchandram highlighted the importance of honesty, resilience, and a service mindset in building a meaningful career.
“Success is a journey, not a race,” he reminded graduates.
Presidential Remarks
Chairman Capt. Lakshmikantha Rao urged students to make use of KITSW’s strong innovation, incubation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
He noted that today’s engineers must focus on solving real-world problems rather than prioritizing financial gain.
“The present generation must keep pace with fast-changing technologies,” he said.
Achievements Highlighted by the Principal
Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy shared notable student achievements:
• Mamindlapelli Sanjana (CSE – AI & ML) received 4 Gold Medals and secured placement at Oracle with a package of ₹14 lakh per annum.
• Gaddam Nikhil Reddy (EEE) was awarded Best All-Rounder – B.Tech.
He added that KITSW has produced over 28,150 alumni working worldwide, including:
• 18,205 B.Tech graduates
• 1,874 M.Tech graduates
• 900 MBA graduates
He encouraged graduates to stay curious and remain lifelong learners.

The graduation pledge was administered by Sanjana Mamindlapelli, currently working as a Software Engineer at Oracle, Hyderabad.
