Dr. Ravula Rajesh Awarded Ph.D. from NIT


Warangal: Dr. Ravula Rajesh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW), has been awarded a Ph.D. by the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, Assam.
He completed his doctoral research in the areas of Edge Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks, Adaptive Routing and Lightweight Security under the guidance of Dr. Ripon Patgiri, Assistant Professor and Supervisor, and Dr. Dolendro Singh, Assistant Professor and Co-supervisor, NIT Silchar.
Dr. Rajesh submitted his thesis titled “Intelligent Energy-Efficient and Secure Routing Protocol for Next-Generation Wireless Sensor Networks.” His research focused on developing energy-efficient and secure routing methods for resource-constrained Wireless Sensor Networks and Edge Computing environments.
As part of the research, he developed frameworks and protocols including DynaClusterNet, ECRCEF and Lightweight Zero-Trust Curve Protocol (LZTCP). The work examined dynamic clustering, adaptive cluster-head selection, Artificial Intelligence and Reinforcement Learning-based routing, Q-Learning, Deep Reinforcement Learning, energy-aware resource management and lightweight security mechanisms.
KITSW Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy said Dr. Rajesh’s research covered areas including energy-efficient communication, intelligent routing, security and resource management in wireless and edge-enabled networks. He also published research papers in national and international journals and conferences.
Former Rajya Sabha MP and KITS Warangal Chairman Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, KITSW Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy, former MLA and KITSW Additional Secretary Vodithala Satish Kumar and Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy congratulated Dr. Rajesh on completing his doctoral research.
