The Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITS), Warangal, has once again demonstrated its academic and professional excellence by achieving outstanding results in campus placements during the first semester of the academic year 2025–2026.
Former Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Chairman of KITS Warangal, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, stated in a press release that more than 317 students from B.Tech and M.Tech final-year batches have been successfully placed in over 50 leading multinational IT and core engineering companies, marking a record achievement for the institution.
Reputed companies such as LTI Mindtree, Oracle, Infosys, Cognizant, TTEC, Chubb, EWGCS, RealPage, Hexaware Technologies, Dextara, Ashoka Builders, Northern Tools, Medha Servo Drives, TCS, and TechnipFMC participated in the campus recruitment process and selected students through both online and offline modes.
Despite challenging market conditions, KITS Warangal recorded an impressive placement performance, with 30 companies offering salary packages ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹15.5 lakh per annum.
Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy attributed this success to the institution’s strong focus on internal faculty-led training programmes and external industry-oriented training sessions conducted regularly by experts. He added that KITSW follows a competency-based outcome-oriented curriculum, designed to equip students with 21st-century industry-relevant skills. The institute also conducts Skill Development Programmes (SDPs) in collaboration with TCS, Automation Anywhere University, NASSCOM, and Wipro.
Through these initiatives, students receive training in emerging technologies such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, and Robotic Process Automation.
Treasurer Sri P. Narayana Reddy highlighted that active involvement of industry leaders in the Board of Studies and Governing Body helps the institute continuously upgrade its curriculum in alignment with Education 5.0, meeting the evolving needs of Industry 5.0.
KITS Warangal is a 45-year-old UGC Autonomous Institution, accredited with NAAC ‘A’ Grade, and all its undergraduate programmes are accredited by NBA, New Delhi.
