KITS Warangal NSS Student V. Siddartha Receives National Adventure Camp–2025 Appreciation Certificate

Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW), proudly announced that its NSS volunteer V. Siddartha, a final-year B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering student, has successfully completed the National Adventure Camp–2025 and earned a national-level appreciation certificate.
The camp was conducted at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Regional Mountaineering Centre, McLeodganj, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, from 18th to 27th November 2025. It was organized by the Regional Directorate of NSS, Hyderabad, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy announced Siddartha’s achievement, praising him as a disciplined and well-behaved student who successfully trekked 80 kilometers and scaled altitudes up to 2,873 feet.
Siddartha was selected to represent Telangana State at this national camp after clearing the state-level selections held at Kakatiya University, Warangal, earlier in November 2025. During the 10-day programme, he gained hands-on experience and elementary proficiency in rock climbing, rappelling, trekking, jungle craft, survival techniques, and leadership skills.
Chairman and former Rajya Sabha MP Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy, Additional Secretary and former MLA Vodithala Sateesh Kumar, and Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy congratulated Siddartha on his achievement.
Registrar Prof. M. Komal Reddy, Dean Academic Affairs Prof. K. Venumadhav, CSE HoD Dr. P. Niranjan, NSS Programme Officer Dr. Ch. Satish Chandra, NSS Co-Programme Officer Santosh Bhargavi, PRO Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary, faculty members, NSS volunteers, and staff also extended their wishes, applauding Siddartha for bringing national recognition to the institution.
