Warangal, December 1:
Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW), is gearing up to host the Ruby Reunion Celebrations of its second B.Tech batch (1981–85) on December 13, 2025, marking 40 years since their graduation.

KITSW Chairman Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Ex-MP, said the institute takes great pride in welcoming the alumni of this historic batch. He appealed to all members of the 1981–85 batch to attend the event in large numbers along with their families and make the milestone reunion a memorable and inspiring gathering. He informed that Prof. Ravi, retired Principal and alumnus of the same batch, is coordinating the celebrations.

Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy stated that around 90 to 100 alumni are expected to participate, reflecting the strong bond and enduring spirit among batch members even after four decades. He added that the alumni have been consistently supporting current students by offering internships, training programs, and placement opportunities.

Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy highlighted the achievements of the 1981–85 batch, noting that its members have excelled as CEOs, educators, researchers, industry experts, and public servants. He mentioned distinguished alumni such as Sri Ash Ashutosh, global entrepreneur and CEO of ACTIFIO Inc., USA, and Dr. G. Madhusudan Reddy, former Director of DMRL, Hyderabad, who have brought significant recognition to the institution. He further emphasized that KITSW’s alumni strength has now crossed 28,250 graduates over 41 years.
The Ruby Reunion will also be attended by members of the Management, KITSW Alumni Association (KITSWAA), retired faculty and staff, and the current academic community, making it a truly inclusive celebration.
