Hyderabad Welcomes the World as Miss World Contestants Arrive for Grand Celebration
Hyderabad, May 8: The city of Hyderabad is buzzing with excitement as over 100 Miss World contestants from around the globe have touched down in the city, marking the beginning of an international celebration of beauty, culture, and talent.
Arriving on May 6, 7, and 8 at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, the contestants were greeted with a warm, traditional welcome, a nod to Telangana’s rich cultural heritage and renowned hospitality. The Telangana government is pulling out all the stops to ensure the event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression.
Preparations are underway for the grand Opening Ceremony scheduled for May 10 at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. The evening promises a vibrant cultural showcase, formally introducing the contestants to the world.
One of the standout events is the Talent Finale on May 22 at Shilpakala Vedika, where contestants will demonstrate their skills in music, dance, art, and more—shining a light on their creativity beyond the runway.
The Head to Head Challenge Finale, set for May 23 at the Trident, will test the contestants’ intellect and communication skills as they engage in meaningful one-on-one discussions on pressing global issues.
Fashion takes center stage on May 23 and 24 with the Miss World Top Model and Fashion Final, followed by a Jewellery and Pearl Fashion Show. These events will also include exclusive interactions with some of Telangana’s top fashion designers.
Adding purpose to the glamour, the Beauty with Purpose presentations on May 26 at HITEX will highlight social service projects led by contestants, emphasizing the deeper mission behind the pageant.
