Officials Asked to Ensure Proper Implementation of Tribal Laws in Mulugu
Mulugu, April 25, 2026: District Collector Divakar T.S. has instructed officials to have complete understanding of tribal laws and ensure they are implemented without negligence.

He was speaking at a training programme held on Saturday at the district collectorate meeting hall. The session was organised for MPDOs, tahsildars, MPOs, and officials from police, forest, and revenue departments on laws related to tribal welfare, including the Forest Rights Act, PESA, and Land Transfer Regulation (LTR).
The Collector said that these laws were framed to protect the rights of tribal communities in scheduled areas. He directed officials to gain clear knowledge at the field level and implement the provisions effectively.
District Forest Officer Rahul Kishan Jadhav, ITDA APO Nagorao, DRDA PD Chandrasekhar, tahsildars from all mandals, MPDOs, and officials from forest, police, and other departments attended the programme along with leaders of tribal organisations.
