Voices of Purpose Take Center Stage at 72nd Miss World 2025 Head-to-Head Challenge in Telangana

Hyderabad, India, May 20, 2025: The prestigious Head-to-Head Challenge of the 72nd Miss World Festival concluded today at T-Hub, Telangana’s premier platform for innovation and entrepreneurship. Over the course of two impactful days, contestants from across the globe came together to present their social impact projects and share their vision for a better world, embodying the spirit of the Miss World “Beauty With a Purpose” initiative.
The contestants spoke on a wide range of pressing global and local issues, including child education, environment, paralysis, nature, support for young girls, the challenges faced by small communities, anxiety during teenage years, mental health, the power of affirmation, language preservation, violence in children, solar power, plastic pollution, gender-based violence, child sexual abuse, education for special communities, economic crises, autism, and anti-drug education.


Divided by continents, the schedule saw contestants from the Americas / Caribbean and Africa take the stage on May 20, followed by representatives from Europe / Asia and Oceania on May 21. Each contestant had the opportunity to speak about the causes closest to their hearts, demonstrating both their leadership and commitment to meaningful social change.
A cornerstone of the Miss World competition, the Head-to-Head Challenge puts a global spotlight on humanitarian values, empowering young women to champion issues ranging from education and healthcare to climate action and community development. Their powerful narratives served as a testament to the strength, compassion, and vision that define this international platform.
Hosting the challenge in Telangana reflects the state’s emergence as a hub for cultural exchange and forward-thinking initiatives. T-Hub, with its vibrant and inclusive environment, provided the ideal venue for contestants to share their stories and inspire global audiences.
