Venkatapuram Hunters Win Ramannagudem Premier League

Eturnagaram, May 27:

Film actor and founder of the Sanjosh Foundation, Sanjosh, said that youth should actively participate in sports and stay away from harmful habits.

The Ramannagudem Premier League cricket tournament concluded on Wednesday in Eturnagaram. The event was organised with the slogan “Say No to Drugs – Love Sports” to encourage young people to focus on sports and healthy activities.

Eight Teams Participate

A total of eight teams from Venkatapuram, Wazeedu, Eturnagaram and Mangapet mandals took part in the tournament. The matches, from the league stage to the final, witnessed close competition and attracted local cricket fans.

In the final match held on Wednesday, Venkatapuram Hunters secured the championship with a strong performance. The runner-up team also put up a competitive fight.

Cash Prizes Distributed

Sanjosh attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest and presented prizes to the winning teams.

  • First Prize: ₹30,000 cash prize and trophy to Venkatapuram Hunters
  • Second Prize: ₹15,000 cash prize to the runner-up team

The prize money was sponsored by the Sanjosh Foundation and Wissen Infotech.

“Choose Sports, Not Drugs”

Speaking at the event, Sanjosh advised youth not to fall into drug addiction and other harmful habits. He said sports help improve both physical and mental health and added that such tournaments provide an opportunity for rural players to showcase their talent.

The event was organised by Ganesh and the Yuva Sena team on behalf of the Sanjosh Foundation.

A large number of villagers, sports enthusiasts and youth attended the closing ceremony.
