KCR Applauds KTR's Leadership in Siricilla

Emotional Moments in Siddipet Public Meeting

KCR and Harish Rao's Pledge to Continue Development

Siricilla, Siddipet: October 17, 2023 - The election campaign in Telangana gained momentum as Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) took to the stage alongside his son, K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), and nephew, Harish Rao, in a bid to rally support for the upcoming polls. KTR, contesting from Siricilla, and Harish Rao, representing Siddipet, received a warm welcome from the public as KCR highlighted the impressive strides in development and the poignant history of these constituencies.

In a spirited speech at the Siricilla meeting, KCR lauded his son, KTR, as a promising leader with a bright future. Siricilla, known for its vibrant weaving community, has faced economic challenges in the past, leading to tragic incidents of weavers taking their own lives. KCR, reminiscing about the past, shared an incident when he toured Siricilla with the late Dr. Jayashankar, a key figure in the Telangana movement. They came across a plea by the district collector, urging weavers not to resort to suicides. KCR emphasized the importance of addressing the weavers' concerns.

He also expressed frustration at political opportunism surrounding the distribution of Bathukamma sarees, which are intended to benefit weavers. Some individuals have engaged in destructive acts, burning the sarees, drawing KCR's ire. The Chief Minister assured the people that the Telangana government is committed to supporting the weaver community and has brought about significant positive changes in Siricilla.

After the Siricilla meeting, KCR, and the emotionally charged Harish Rao, headed to Siddipet, a constituency represented by Harish Rao for the past decade. In a heartfelt speech, Harish Rao expressed his gratitude to the people of Siddipet and to KCR, pledging to continue serving them with honesty and dedication.

KCR, addressing the Siddipet crowd, recalled the challenging circumstances of the past when the region faced severe water scarcity for both drinking and irrigation. He outlined the extensive development that has taken place in Siddipet under his nephew's leadership. KCR appealed to the people not to be swayed by other political parties' promises and to vote for Harish Rao with a resounding majority.

As the election season heats up, the presence of KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao in Siddipet and Siricilla demonstrates their determination to ensure the continued progress and development of these vital constituencies. The emotional resonance of their speeches left a deep impact on the crowds, setting the tone for an intense electoral battle ahead.
