The Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW), in collaboration with the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) KITSW student chapter, recently marked the successful conclusion of the national-level student technical symposium, "SUMSHODHINI'23," at the Silver Jubilee Seminar Hall on the KITS Warangal campus.


The valedictory ceremony, graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, witnessed the recognition and appreciation of the student community under the Student Activity Center (SAC) and faculty coordinators for orchestrating the grand success of the tech fest.


Former Minister, Hon’ble Ex. Rajya Sabha MP, and KITSW Chairman, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, along with Treasurer Sri P. Narayana Reddy and KITSW Additional Secretary & Husnabad Former MLA, Assembly Constituency, Vodithala Sateesh Kumar, extended their congratulations to the students for the outstanding achievement.


The theme of SUMSHODHINI'23, "Nexus of Innovation Igniting Minds," resonated throughout the event, with nine engineering departments organizing a variety of workshops and technical events. Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy emphasized the importance of fostering a passion for innovation through advanced technologies in 21st-century education.



One of the highlights of the symposium was a workshop conducted by Ajinkya Lohakare, CTO at Ditto Security, on Generative AI and Open AI API Integration. Lohakare actively engaged students, providing valuable insights into cybersecurity and motivating them towards innovation.


Prof. V. Shankar, the fest convenor, and Dean of Student Affairs, emphasized the symposium's benefits for the student community, encouraging them to generate creative ideas for the common good. The technical events, including paper presentations and project expos, aimed to create an innovative platform fostering a startup culture among students.

The program Co-convenor & Associate Dean M. Narasimha Rao shared that over 5000 certificates were distributed to participants, underlining the importance of continuous knowledge and skill enhancement for designing innovative live projects during the course.


The event saw active participation from various dignitaries, including Prof. V. Shankar, Prof. M. Narasimha Rao, Dr. H. Ramesh Babu, Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary, Dr. T. Senthil Murugan, and Dr. B. Vijay Kumar, as well as deans, HODs, faculty coordinators, and student representatives.


The successful conclusion of SUMSHODHINI'23 showcased the commitment of KITS Warangal towards fostering innovation and technological advancements among the student community.
