"District Collector Rahul Sharma directed the officials to complete the loan waiver process for farmers without any hurdles. He said that under the first phase of the loan waiver scheme, Rs 1 lakh would be credited to the accounts of farmers who have taken loans of up to Rs 1 lakh. He also said that the second phase of the loan waiver scheme would begin from July 31. Bankers were instructed to ensure that farmers do not face any difficulties during the loan waiver process.

The District Collector said that a total of 16,502 farmers in the district would benefit from the loan waiver scheme. He also said that the government has decided to waive off loans of up to Rs 2 lakh for each farmer family. He instructed the officials to collect the details of the farmers who have taken loans and to ensure that the loan waiver process is completed smoothly.

The District Collector also said that a special counter would be set up in banks to facilitate the loan waiver process for farmers. He instructed the officials to ensure that the farmers do not face any difficulties during the process. He also said that a grievance redressal mechanism would be set up to address any issues that may arise during the loan waiver process.

Additional Collector Venkateswarlu, District Agricultural Officer Vijaya Bhaskar, Lead Bank Officer Tirupati, and other officials from the agriculture and banking sectors present.
