BC Commission calls on Governor
Telangana BC Commission Chairman Niranjan informed that Governor Jishnudev Verma was apprised of the details regarding the schedule of comprehensive household survey of social, economic and political conditions of all castes to be conducted in the State to determine BC reservations. Earlier, the team of BC Commission comprising of its Chairman Shri G Niranjan, Members Shri Rapolu Jayaprakash, Thirumalagiri Surender, Bala Lakshmi Rangu and officials U. Srinivasa Rao, Deputy Director, G Satish Kumar, Assistant Secretary and Chairman’s staff G. Srinivas called on the State Governor at the Raj Bhavan. He further informed that the programs undertaken by the Commission so far and the details of the castes collected comprehensively have been brought to the attention of the Governor. The Commission will tour the erstwhile (10) district headquarters from 28th of this month to 8th of next month. Niranjan said that comprehensive caste wise details will be collected through the District Collectors.
