National level Student Technical Symposium SUMSHODHINI'24 Held at KITS Warangal Campus

The  Indian Society for Technical Education( ISTE) KITSW student chapter(AP016), Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW) in association with Technical Club, Student Activity Center(SAC), TEN departments jointly organizing a national level student technical symposium named as "SUMSHODHINI'24" from 18-19th October, 2024 said by  the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy.  Today, It is inaugurated by the chief guest of the inaugural function, Hyderabad Hyderabad, Principal Enterprise Architect at GE Appliances, a Hair Company,  Sri Gaurav  Achra by lighting the lamp at Silver Jubilee Seminar Hall.
                                                      On the eve of the inaugural ceremony the former Rajya Sabha MP, KITSW Chairman, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao and Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy & Husnabad constituency former MLA & KITSW Additional secretary, Shri Vodithala Sateesh Kumar have congratulated them for the grand success of  tech. fest-SUMSHODHINI'24. 


                                                                                             On this occasion the chief guest, Hyderabad, Principal Enterprise Architect at GE Appliances, a Hair Company,  Sri Gaurav  Achra highlighted the key features of innovation and industry perspective on startups.  Innovation is the Creation of Viable New Offering.  The creation involves two components as invention and innovation    Netflix and Hotstar are the best examples for invention.  Smartphones are the best example for innovation.  A tool to generate AI with new ideas is also one kind of creation (Ex, Chat GPT).  Innovation must be practical and Sustainable with respect to Viability.  Avoiding 420 tonnes of carbon  pollutants by innovating solar boats for the transportation of crude oil(1.65 Lakhs of Liters).   Ideas are visible in society and make a difference in the world.  Innovation requires identifying problems that matter.  Identify the right opportunity.  Delivery of innovation is an elegant solution(for example UPI makes the payment and receiving is very simple). T-works in Telangana, creates largest prototype launching center.   Make use of internship opportunities. He concluded that innovation is the most powerful force to meaningful change in the world, be proactive, take initiative and focus on the present.  


On this occasion KITSW Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy said that the theme of sumshodhini'24 is "Innovation Beyond Boundaries" .   Make this platform a real technical presentation to inculcate the technical skill as well as enhance leadership qualities.  The engineering departments which includes Computer Science and Engineering-AIML (CSM),  Information Technology (IT), Computer Science and Engineering-Network (CSN), Civil engineering(CE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics Communication and Instrumentation engineering (ECI) and MBA, will conduct 10 workshops on 18th October, 2024.   There are win cash prizes provided for the best innovative research paper presentation worth a maximum of Rs. 1,00,000. There were 10 workshops to be conducted.  The additional workshop on development of projects using Treasure Hunt and Project Expo.  During these two days the technical events such as Paper presentations are common activity for all branches and project expo, Real-ISTETC, mobile application development, 70+ technical events to be organised to create start-up culture among the student community, he added.               

                                   

The presidential remarks given by the KITSW Governing Body Member and retired judge, K. Devi Prasad.  He also highlighted that 'necessity is the mother of innovation' and innovation is the term very close to engineering.  This symposium definitely benefits the student community and wishes them to get creative ideas for the benefit of society.   It is the technical platform to share and learn advanced technical skills among the student community in interdisciplinary engineering fields. 
                                                  In this event, KITS W administrative committee member, Dr V Pavan Kumar, fest convenor and Dean student affairs,  Prof. M. Sreelatha, program Co-convenor & associate professor, M. Narasimha Rao, chairman ISTE KITSW chapter  & Coordinator,   SUMSHODHINI'24, Dr. T. Madhukar Reddy, Associate professor of Chemistry & PRO,  Dr.D. Prabhakara Chary, Co-coordinators as  Co-coordinators as  Dr. S. Sunil Prathap Reddy and Dr. B. Vijay Kumar, all the deans, all the Heads,  Faculty coordinators, student president, ISTE-KITSW chapter, A. Abhicharan,  technical club student general secretaries: Nishath Sultana & V. Siddartha, anchored by Ruthika Sharma and R Vishnu Sai, 3000 above students across the Telugu states were present.
