*KITSW NSS Volunteers Actively Involved in the Service of God on the eve of MAHASHIVARATHRI at Village Guniparthy, Kamalapur (MDL)*


Student Activity Centre,  Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW) the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers  organized a volunteering event at the Amritha Lingeshwara Lord Shiva temple on the occasion of Shivaratri at Guniparthy village, Kamalapur (MDL).  The event aimed to serve the devotees visiting the temple and make their experience pleasant, said by the principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy.


On this occasion the chief guest, retired lecturer in economics,  K. Thirupathi Reddy said that the 60 above  NSS volunteers from KITSW carried out various activities such as cleaning the temple premises, distributing prasad, supplying water to the devotees, providing assistance to the elderly and differently-abled visitors, and managing the crowd successfully, he added.



The event was a success, and the volunteers received appreciation from the temple authorities and the devotees for their selfless service. The NSS volunteers also gained valuable experience in organizing such events and contributing to the community.  It leads to inculcating the life skills and leadership qualities to manage their future life. 


The guests appreciated the efforts of the NSS team and their initiative to plant more trees, encouraging them to continue this initiative and spread awareness about the importance of planting trees for the environment. The volunteers showed great enthusiasm and dedication towards the event. 


In this program  KITSW NSS Coordinator, Dr. CH. Sateesh Chandra, KITSW Librarian, DR. K. Indrasena Reddy, Associate professor of ECE, Dr. M. Raju, Dean Student Affairs, Associate Dean,  all the deans, all the heads, faculty, staff, NSS club, Sairam,   Apoorva, Siddartha, and 60 above student volunteers were actively involved in the event.
