*KITS Warangal CSE–IoT Student Secures AIR-298 in GATE CS 2025*


The Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW) takes immense pride in announcing that Bobbala Vishwa Pranav Reddy, a student from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Networks), has secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 298 in the GATE 2025 (Computer Science) examination conducted in February 2025 said by the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy.


On this occasion,  Former Member (Rajya Sabha) and Chairman of KITSW, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, KITSW Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy, Former MLA of Husnabad constituency and KITSW Additional secretary, Vodithala Satish Kumar   and Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy congratulated B.Vishwa Pranav Reddy for his outstanding performance and wished him success in his future endeavors.


Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, appreciating the achievement, stated,


“Pranav's success is because of his hard work, focus on studies, and determination. He is a good example for other students. We believe he will keep doing well and make KITSW proud in the future.”


He further added that this remarkable achievement is a testament to Pranav’s dedication, consistent efforts, and academic excellence. He noted that Pranav has been a bright and focused student of the CSE–IoT specialization. He also highlighted that Pranav achieved this rank without enrolling in any private coaching institute, instead relying on the guidance and support of the college professors to acquire in-depth knowledge of the GATE subjects. He specifically acknowledged the efforts of Dr. Vuppu Shankar, Professor and Head of the CSN Department, for mentoring and guiding Pranav throughout his GATE preparation. Prof. Ashoka Reddy emphasized that Pranav’s achievement brings immense pride to the institution and serves as an inspiration to his peers.


Professor and Head of Computer Science Networks (CSN), Dr. Vuppu Shankar, along with the student's parents, Mr. B. Sadashiva Reddy (Deputy Commercial Tax Officer) and Mrs. B. Sunitha (Government Teacher - SGT), and his brother B. Veda Karan Reddy, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from NIT Warangal, congratulated Vishwa Pranav and said they were proud of his achievement. Vishwa Pranav also shared that his parents’ constant encouragement and support played an important role in his success.


The institution recognizes this accomplishment as a reflection of its commitment to quality education, mentorship, and the academic environment it fosters for aspiring engineers. KITSW continues to encourage and support students in their pursuit of excellence in national-level competitive examinations such as GATE, ESE, and GRE.
