YourCity100, a free hyperlocal community application developed by TheCommunity100, has appointed motorcycle and lifestyle influencer Jetty the Biker Girl as its official Brand Ambassador. The announcement was made on June 25. According to the company, the partnership aims to promote the app among local communities and help more people discover services available in their cities.
Jetty the Biker Girl has more than 5.55 lakh followers on Instagram. As Brand Ambassador, she will promote the YourCity100 app through her social media platforms and encourage users in launch cities to explore local events, businesses, classifieds and other community services available on the app.
YourCity100 is currently available in 100 cities, including 70 cities across 22 states in India and 30 cities across five states in the United States. The app provides information on local events, trusted businesses, classifieds and a real-time “City Pulse” feature. The company said the app is free to download, contains no advertisements and does not require users to sign up.
Avinash Puli, Founder of TheCommunity100 and Botsin LLC, said the collaboration will help the platform reach more local communities. Jetty the Biker Girl said she is pleased to join the campaign and believes the app will support local businesses while helping residents stay informed about activities in their cities through a single platform.
The company also stated that the app is powered by its City Pulse Engine, a patent-pending forecasting system that tracks 30-day demand signals to help residents know upcoming local activities and assist businesses in planning promotions.
