Inspiring Interactive Sessions Held at KITS Warangal as Part of AICTE’s Seven-Day Student Induction Program

Warangal, August 9, 2025:
The Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW) today hosted two engaging student interactive sessions titled “Career Planning, Development of Positive Attitude” and “Life is Beautiful” for first-year B.Tech students. These sessions were conducted under the AICTE-mandated Student Induction Program (SIP), which runs from August 7 to 14 across five venues on campus — the Auditorium, Silver Jubilee Seminar Hall, New Seminar Hall, Mechanical Seminar Hall, and Civil Seminar Hall.

The sessions were led by noted Warangal-based psychologist and Prof. Jayashankar awardee, Dr. Barupati Gopi, who delivered a practical and motivational talk. He emphasized values such as positive thinking, focus, adaptability, stress management, self-confidence, courage, and interpersonal skills. Addressing the students, Dr. Gopi remarked, “Fear is the greatest enemy. While criticism is common, we must remember that life itself is beautiful. Every day can be the best day if we shed our fears, embrace reality, and adopt modern technology for a brighter future.”

Presiding over the event, KITSW Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy urged students to approach life as a challenge to be accepted and a game to be played with determination. He encouraged them to master industry-relevant skills, adopt trend-setting technologies, and innovate to become engineers ready for the demands of the 21st century.

The event saw participation from all Heads of Departments, Deans, and faculty members including Prof. K. Venumadhav (Dean Academic Affairs), Prof. K. Sridhar, Prof. M. Srilatha, Dr. Ch. Sateesh Chandra, Dr. D. Harikrishna, Dr. H. Ramesh Babu (HoD of Physical Sciences), Dr. K. Shivashankar (HoD of Mathematics & Humanities), Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary, Dr. P. Prabhakar Rao, and Dr. R. Srikanth. Over 900 students and staff members attended the sessions.

The Student Induction Program at KITSW aims to ease the transition of freshers into college life, nurturing not only their academic skills but also their personal growth and positive mindset.
