State Gears Up for Telangana Rising Global Summit on December 8–9


Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao Reviews Preparations
Hyderabad, December 1:
Chief Secretary of Telangana, K. Ramakrishna Rao, has directed officials to ensure foolproof arrangements for the prestigious Telangana Rising Global Summit scheduled to be held on December 8 and 9. He conducted a video conference with senior officials to review the progress of ongoing preparations.
Special Chief Secretaries Jayesh Ranjan, Sabyasachi Ghosh, Sanjay Kumar, and CMO Principal Secretary Sheshadri, along with other senior officials, participated in the review meeting.
The Chief Secretary said that invitations are being sent to prominent personalities and dignitaries from across the country and abroad. He instructed officials to make comprehensive arrangements for all the attendees. A special war room has been set up at Praja Bhavan to monitor the preparations round the clock, he added.
Ramakrishna Rao stated that since this is one of the largest summits ever held in the state, all departments will showcase their progress and achievements. The summit will feature plenary sessions, one-on-one meetings with the Hon’ble Chief Minister, and the signing of several significant MoUs with various organisations.
He noted that a large number of agreements are expected to be finalised during the Telangana Rising Global Summit. The event will continue till December 13 and conclude with a football match at Uppal Stadium.
