Dr. Pesaru Vijayachander Reddy, a senior orthopedic surgeon and respected academic from Hanumakonda, has been conferred the “Biggest Doctor Award – 500” by Suman TV, in recognition of his decades-long service and contribution to the field of medicine.
This award recognizes 500 distinguished doctors across Telangana for their exceptional commitment to public health. Dr. Vijayachander Reddy, who has over 40 years of experience, has held key positions including Professor at Kakatiya Medical College, Head of the Department at RVM Medical College, and is currently serving as Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, Hanumakonda District.
He also plays an active role at the national level, serving as a Central Working Committee Member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and President-Elect of the Orthopedic Association of South Indian States (OASIS).
The felicitation ceremony was held at HICC Novotel in Hyderabad, where medical professionals from across the state were acknowledged for their service. The event, organized by Suman TV — a digital platform with over 80 million followers — aimed to highlight the efforts of healthcare professionals who have made a significant impact.
