Minister Seetakka Honours Tribal Welfare Students for Outstanding Academic Achievements
Hyderabad, May 22 – Students from tribal welfare educational institutions who achieved exceptional results in the 2024–25 academic year were honoured today by Minister Dr. Danasari Anasuya, popularly known as Seetakka. The event recognized high performers from Tribal Welfare Residential Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), and Ashram Schools under the Tribal Welfare Department.
In the Intermediate second-year examinations, students from tribal welfare institutions achieved an impressive overall pass percentage of 84.94%. Notably, Kethavath Akhila from the Devarkonda Tribal Welfare Gurukulam scored 996 out of 1000 in the BiPC stream, securing 2nd rank statewide, while Kethavath Sravanthi from the Parigi campus secured 994 out of 1000 in the MPC stream, earning the 4th rank. Padia Mounika from the Kesamudram Gurukulam scored 980 marks in the CEC stream, securing the 8th state rank.
In total, 28 students from the Intermediate second year and 71 students from the first year secured state-level ranks. EMRS students recorded an even higher pass percentage of 89.51%, with 1,224 students scoring over 900 marks.
For SSC (10th Class) results, Tribal Welfare Gurukul students achieved an outstanding 98.08% pass rate, surpassing the state average by 6%. As many as 486 students scored over 90%, and 41 schools achieved 100% pass results. Among EMRS institutions, 22 out of 23 schools recorded 100% results.
Ashram schools under the Tribal Welfare Department also performed strongly, with a 95% pass percentage. Notably, 141 Ashram Schools and 86 ST hostels achieved 100% results, and 160 students scored above 90% in SSC exams. Among top scorers, Ramavath Mohan scored 582 out of 600, and Made Mounika scored 575 out of 600.





Minister Seetakka felicitated all high-achieving students with medals and certificates, praising their hard work and dedication. She emphasized the Telangana government’s commitment to supporting tribal students through improved facilities and educational opportunities. “Set clear goals, work diligently to achieve them, and bring pride to your families, teachers, and communities,” she urged the students.
She also encouraged the students to stay grounded, respect their roots, and preserve tribal culture, languages, and traditions even as they rise to greater heights in life.
