Warangal, May 20,2025: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITS), Warangal, officially inaugurated a six-week internship program on “Full Stack Web Applications” at the Silver Jubilee Seminar Hall on campus.
The event was presided over by KITSW Principal, Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, who shared that the internship aims to enhance students’ technical knowledge and practical skills in full stack development—an area increasingly in demand in the tech industry.
Shri Mahesh Jarati, Senior Vice President of IKCON Technologies Inc., Hyderabad, graced the event as the chief guest. He emphasized the importance of such programs in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry needs. “With the evolving demands of multinational companies (MNCs), students must keep pace with the latest developments in software. This internship is a great opportunity to prepare for future career opportunities,” he noted.
The program also received warm wishes from several dignitaries, including Former Rajya Sabha Member and KITSW Chairman Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy, and Former Husnabad MLA & KITSW Additional Secretary Vodithala Sateesh Kumar. They applauded the CSE department for organizing an initiative that brings students closer to real-world industrial exposure.
Prof. Reddy, in his presidential remarks, highlighted that the internship is structured to provide hands-on experience in current web technologies and software reasoning techniques, serving as a valuable platform for students to upskill and stay industry-ready.
Over 100 students have enrolled in the program. Present at the event were Dean of Academic Affairs Prof. K. Venumadhav, Internship Coordinator Dr. N.C. Santhosh Kumar, CSE Head Prof. P. Niranjan, faculty members Dr. Raghuram, Dr. Raju, Sri Rajesh, PRO Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary, and other department heads.
The internship program is expected to run for six weeks, offering a blend of practical training and expert mentorship to help participants build strong foundations in full stack web development.
