Superannuation Celebrations of Professor M. Sreelatha Held at KITS Warangal

Warangal, Nov — The Staff Club of Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW), organised a grand superannuation celebration in honour of Dr. M. Sreelatha, eminent Professor of the Department of Electronics, Communication & Instrumentation Engineering (ECIE). The event was held at the Silver Jubilee Seminar Hall, KITS Warangal.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy highlighted Dr. Sreelatha’s remarkable contributions to the institute. He stated that she served KITSW for 33 years in various academic and administrative roles, including Dean of Student Affairs, Head of the ECIE Department, Professor In-charge of the Central Library, and Professor In-charge of HMP, among several other responsibilities.
He praised her dedication, discipline, and strong sense of humanity, describing her career as “wonderful, remarkable, and illustrious.”
Former Rajya Sabha MP and Chairman of KITSW Capt. V. Laxmikantha Rao, along with KITSW Treasurer Sri P. Narayana Reddy, congratulated Dr. Sreelatha on her retirement and appreciated her long-standing service to the institute. They offered heartfelt wishes for a peaceful and fulfilling retired life.
The celebration was attended by Registrar Prof. M. Komal Reddy, Administrative Officer Prof. P. Ramesh Reddy, Dean (Academic Affairs) Prof. K. Venumadhav, Head of ECIE Prof. K. Shivani, and Staff Club Executive Members including President & Head of CSN Prof. V. Shankar, Secretary Dr. A. Harikumar, Treasurer & NCC Captain Dr. M. Ranadheer Kumar, KITSTA President Prof. K. Sridhar, KITSTA General Secretary & Head of MED Prof. Srikanth Pabba, and PRO Dr. Prabhakara Chary.
Dr. Sreelatha’s family members, including her husband Sri P. Ramesh Babu, along with retired Prof. Dr. M. Surekha, Sri Muralidhar, all deans, heads of departments, faculty, staff, and students—about 200 attendees—took part in the event and extended their best wishes.
