Warangal,Jan23,2024:In a remarkable display of innovation and technological prowess, the Mechanical Engineering team at the Centre for Innovation Incubation, Research, and Entrepreneurship (C-i2RE) of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science Warangal (KITSW) has successfully designed and manufactured a miniature replica of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya using disruptive technologies.


To mark the celebration of the inauguration of Rama Mandir and Bala Rama Prana Pratishta at Ayodhya, the student team from C-i2RE dedicated 115 continuous hours at the KITSW campus to bring this awe-inspiring project to life. The inauguration ceremony took place yesterday, with the Principal and AICTE IDEA Lab Chief Mentor, Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, doing the honors.


Commending the innovative spirit of the students, former Rajyasabha MP and KITSW Chairman, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy, and additional secretary and former MLA Vodithal Satish Kumar extended their congratulations to the dedicated team at i2RE, KITS Warangal.



Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy expressed admiration for the project, emphasizing that it not only showcased the students' prowess but also highlighted the harmonious blend of technology and cultural heritage. The Mechanical Engineering team, responsible for this impressive feat, incorporated disruptive technologies, including 3D printing, and applied their creative ideas during the manufacturing process.


The event witnessed the participation of key figures, including Head of C-i2RE, Dr. K. Raja Narender Reddy, Idea Lab Co-coordinator Dr. V. Raju Reddy, Digital Manufacturing Lab Coordinator Dr. MD. Sameer, Tech Gurus Dr. S. Chandramouli and Dr. P.S.S. Murthy, as well as student representatives and faculty members actively involved in the technical project. Over 90 students contributed to the success of this project, marking it as a collaborative effort that seamlessly blended technology and cultural significance.
