On the occasion of National Youth Day, the Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science Warangal (KITSW) transformed into a hub of innovation and inspiration with its compelling webinar, "Drone Tech Ignition." This dynamic event, orchestrated by the Students Alliance for Innovation and Leadership (SAIL) in collaboration with the Innovation and Research Club & Entrepreneurship Development Cell, unfolded as a beacon of learning and exploration.
Initiated by the Center for Innovation Incubation, Research, and Entrepreneurship (C-i2RE) at KITSW, the webinar aimed to immerse students in the transformative world of drone technology, as expressed by the visionary Principal, Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy.
The guest speaker,Parvatha Prem Sai, an aerospace engineer hailing from the drone-based startup "Hexagon Aerospace," took center stage, enlightening the audience with a comprehensive journey through the fundamentals and advanced engineering technologies in the drone landscape. Attendees gained profound insights into the diverse applications and the future scope of drones.
The event reached its zenith with an engaging interactive session, where students passionately raised queries spanning from sensors to the intricate mechanisms embedded within drones. This insightful webinar set the stage for a hands-on workshop, providing students with practical skills to enhance their knowledge and embark on their journey into the world of drone technology.
Dr. K. Raja Narender Reddy, Head of C-i2RE, delivered an encouraging address, urging the audience to draw inspiration from the event and actively pursue drone technology. He highlighted various government initiatives and the flourishing startup ecosystems in this sector, underscoring the critical role drones play in diverse fields. Drawing parallels with Swami Vivekananda's aspirations for the nation's youth, he called upon students to realize their potential.

The program saw active participation from the faculty, with Dr. Raji Reddy, K. Kishore Kumar, K. Teja, P. Divyank, and Druthi, alongside Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary, Head of the Department of Physical Sciences and Associate Professor of Chemistry. Student representatives, including Rupesh Kumar, Srimayee Uyala, Sravya, and Md. Gouse, along with a dedicated cohort of faculty, staff, and over 90 student participants, collectively contributed to the success of this enlightening technical workshop.
