"KITSW NSS Volunteers Embrace Service Spirit on Mahashivaratri Eve in Guniparthy Village"
In a heartwarming display of community service and devotion, the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers from Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW) came together to serve at the Lord Shiva temple in Guniparthy village, Kamalapur (MDL) on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivaratri.
Led by the principal, Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, over 60 NSS volunteers engaged in a variety of activities aimed at facilitating a pleasant experience for the devotees. From meticulously cleaning the temple premises to distributing prasad and offering assistance to elderly and differently-abled visitors, the volunteers left no stone unturned in ensuring the smooth functioning of the event.
Their efforts did not go unnoticed as they received accolades from both the temple authorities and the devotees for their selfless dedication. Beyond the immediate impact on the event, the volunteers also gained invaluable experience in event organization, community service, and leadership.
Notably, the guests commended the NSS team for their initiative to plant more trees, underscoring the importance of environmental awareness and sustainability. Encouraged by this support, the volunteers pledged to continue their efforts in spreading awareness about tree plantation and environmental conservation.
