Assistant Professor at KITS Warangal Awarded Ph.D. for Innovative Research in Bio Composites
Srikanth Vallala, an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITS) in Warangal, has been conferred with a Ph.D. degree by Kakatiya University. The Principal of KITS Warangal, Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, announced this achievement.
Vallala's doctoral thesis, titled "Development and Characterization of Bio Composites - A Comparative Study," explores innovative techniques for fabricating and analyzing natural plant resin and various natural fiber reinforced composites. His research, conducted under the guidance of Professor K. Raja Narender Reddy, aims to contribute to the demand for environmentally friendly materials in industries such as packaging, automotive, and aerospace.
The research emphasizes the importance of biocomposites in environmental conservation, economic development, and technological advancement. Vallala's work advocates for the adoption of renewable resource materials as alternatives to non-renewable synthetic resources, thus paving the way for a more sustainable future.
