Mulugu, June 25, 2024: Mulugu District Collector Divakara T.S. inspected the construction of a new 200-bed hospital on Tuesday at Premnagar Village. Accompanied by Additional Collector Mahender Ji and officials from the engineering and medical departments, the Collector reviewed the progress of the final stage of construction.

During the inspection, Collector Divakara emphasized the importance of completing the construction work promptly and maintaining high-quality standards. He highlighted the urgency to finish the project, ensuring that the facility meets the healthcare needs of the community.

In addition to the hospital, the Collector also inspected the site for a new medical college. He announced that the college, recently sanctioned, will commence with an initial batch of 50 students  this  academic year 2024-2025. The Collector also visited  the allocated ground for the Medical College and instructed officials to protect the land from encroachment.

The inspection team included Mulugu RDO Satyapal Reddy, Medical College Principal Banothu Mohan Lal, Area Hospital Superintendent Dr. Jagadishwar, and Tahsildar Vijaya Bhaskar.
