Telangana Energy Secretary Reviews Power Supply and Transmission Projects
Hyderabad, June 27, 2024:Ronald Rose, IAS, the Secretary of Energy for the Government of Telangana and Chairman & Managing Director of TGTRANSCO and TGGENCO, conducted a review of the state's power supply and ongoing transmission projects at Vidyut Soudha today.
During the review, Rose assessed the existing 400KV, 220KV, and 132KV transmission networks. He instructed the Director of Projects and the Director of Transmission to expedite the completion of ongoing Extra High Voltage (EHV) substation and associated line works, ensuring timely completion of all projects.
Rose expressed satisfaction with the performance of all generating stations, noting that they have adequate coal stocks. He emphasized the importance of maintaining quality and reliable power supply throughout the state. Rose also directed all power utilities to take necessary measures and instructed field engineers to remain at their headquarters to promptly address any emergencies.
Ronald Rose assumed his current roles on June 26, 2024.
