*KITS Warangal Successfully Conducted 4th day of Student Induction Programme (SIP) at Five Venues, KITSW Campus*
Dean Academic Affairs Office, Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW) is completed successfully 4th day of Student Induction Programme (SIP) for B.Tech. first year students for the academic year 2024-25 at five venues such as Auditorium, Silver Jubilee Seminar Hall, New Seminar Hall, Civil Seminar Hall and Mechanical Seminar Hall, KITS Warangal campus. According to Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, the SIP is to be conducted from 23rd August to 2nd September, 2024 for 40 above activities.
The former Rajya Sabha MP, KITSW Chairman, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer, Sri P. Narayana Reddy, other management members have congratulated and wished the Newly joined B. Tech. students for their bright future.
On this occasion the chief guest, Hyderabad, You & Me Counselling Psychologist, Personality Development Trainer, Dr. C. Veerender gave the *expert talk on "Student Psychology"* . Challenging our brain through the best thought process is very important in student life. World wide among the people 24% fearless of no Wi-Fi, 40% fear for not making money, 42% are afraid that they may not have a luxurious life and 32% are anxious. Stress is due to the 'JACPOT' formula as Jealousy, Anger, Comparison, Postponement, Overthinking and Time pass with mobile. Youth has to demand to build the best career. The Dopamine and Aspirin drugs used for happiness. Demonstrated stress releasing life skills.
At the end he concluded that the student community has a skill set which includes emotional intelligence skills, lateral thinking skills, problem solving skills, entrepreneurship skills and understanding the value of money.
According to the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, scientists study the world as it is, engineers create the world that has never been (by Theodre Von Karmant). Present youth born in the technology / digital world and majority are confident, ambitious and achievement-oriented, realistic about their career prospects. They value financial stability and security through the KITSW ideology.
All the Heads of the Department from the various engineering disciplines such as ECE, ECI, Mech., Civil, EEE, CSE, CSN, CSE(AI&ML), CSE (IoT), and IT branches have demonstrated the laboratories and equipment provided for the students.
In this programme all the HoDs, all the deans, dean academic affairs Prof. K. Vnumadhav, Registrar Prof. M. Komal Reddy, programme Coordinators & HoD of PS, Dr.H. Ramesh Babu, HoD of M&H Dr. K. Shivashankar, faculty in-charges for PG and UG courses: Dr. P. Prabhakar Rao, Dr. R. Srikanth & Associate professor of chemistry, PRO Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary, about 1200 students were present at five venues of KITSW campus in the four successive sessios
