Responsibility to Preserve Bathukamma Traditions Rests on Everyone: MLA Naini Rajender Reddy


Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy emphasized the importance of preserving the cultural and traditional significance of the Bathukamma festival in Telangana. Speaking at an event in Hanamkonda, he highlighted the collective responsibility to safeguard these age-old traditions.


The event took place at the Kapuwada Sri Badri Tataka Anjaneya Swamy temple premises, where MLA Rajender Reddy unveiled a newly installed Bathukamma statue. The statue was donated by Gunishetti Sudhakar and his wife Sushasini (Chandra Renuka), who, along with their family members, actively participated in the ceremony. 



During his speech, the MLA congratulated the donors for their contribution. Sudhakar mentioned that the statue was installed in memory of his parents, Gunishetti Sammaiah and Yellamma, with the support of his brothers Gunishetti Kedari, Rajaiah, and Saraiah


The event was attended by local residents, including Congress party leaders, along with the 10th Division Corporator, Thota Venkateshwarlu.
