The Telangana Commission for Backward Classes brings the following points to the notice of the General Public for smooth conduct the Comprehensive Household Survey in the State.
Everyone should try to create a good atmosphere so that the Comprehensive Caste Survey can be conducted peacefully without any suspicions.
All political parties should cooperate regardless of political differences.
Everyone should note that this Comprehensive Survey was entrusted to the Planning Department based on the request of the BC Commission as the Commission does not have its own machinery and staff.
The BC Commission requests the planning department to make all necessary efforts to conduct the Caste Survey without any errors.
The supervisors and the higher officials should try to provide information about the visit schedule of the enumerators at least one day in advance.
The actual population of BCs, their backwardness in education, economic, social and other fields will be known only if people take all precautions and provide correct information during the survey.
Planning Department and District Collectors should take all precautions to keep personal information of the respondents collected by enumerators confidential.
This information collected by the Planning Department is very much important to the BC Commission. The information is very much helpful to review the present conditions of BCs and to make suggestions for future actions.
People should take notice of this matter and cooperate with the enumerators who come to collect information in all ways. If there are any errors or misuse of the information given by them, then the same may be brought to the notice of the District Collectors or the BC Commission so as to take appropriate action in the matter.
All people should provide correct information for the Survey. This is the minimum responsibility as citizens.
The officials, enumerators or people who record false information in the survey are liable for serious legal action against them. The Commission will act impartially and strictly in this regard.
