*7-Day Special Camp by NSS Club SAC, KITS WARANGAL Highlights Environmental and Community Development*

 The NSS Club of the Student Activity Center (SAC) at Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITSW) organized a 7-day special camp with a focus on tree plantation and community service. The event, held under the guidance of Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, aimed at fostering environmental awareness and social responsibility among students.

The camp was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. Esam Narayana, Professor and NSS Program Coordinator, Kakatiya University, and witnessed the participation of several dignitaries, including Dr. M. Sreelatha, Dean of Student Affairs, Sri M. Narasimha Rao, Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ch. Satheesh Chandra, NSS Program Officer, KITSW, and other faculty members.

The event's highlight was a large-scale tree plantation drive, where a number of saplings were planted in and around the Guniparthi village. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Esam Narayana emphasized the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change and urged students to be proactive in preserving the environment.

Shri Rajeshwar Reddy, Chairman of the Guniparthi Temple committee, and Sarangapani, Vice Chairman, extended their support to the initiative, appreciating the students' dedication. The camp also included cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, and cultural activities designed to strengthen the bond between the college and the local community.

Dr. K Indra Sena Reddy, Librarian, KITSW, and Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary, Professor, praised the efforts of the NSS team, led by Gujjunuri Manohar, the Student Head of NSS KITSW. They commended the volunteers for their unwavering commitment to environmental and social causes.

Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy congratulated the team for their success, stating, “This initiative not only benefits the environment but also instills a sense of responsibility in our students, which is integral to holistic education.”

The 7-day camp underscored the NSS Club SAC's dedication to sustainable development and community welfare, setting a strong example for future initiatives.
