*Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science Warangal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Texas A&M University San Antonio, USA at Administrative Committee hall, KITSW Campus  according to the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy*.

Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science Warangal(KITSW), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Texas A&M University San Antonio, USA an international American university to focus on Student scholarships, Faculty Expert Talk – Online, Student summer internships, Research collaboration, Faculty Development programmes -Online, Teaching semester course – online, Faculty exchange programmes – spending a semester in T&R said by the Dr. Vijay Golla, Vice Provost for Research and Health Sciences at Texas A&M University San Antonio, state of Texas.

On this occasion Dr. Liu, Dean at Texas A&M University-San Antonio, emphasized the importance of developing advanced technological skills through consistent practice to secure placements with competitive salaries.

Representing KITS Warangal, Principal Professor K. Ashoka Reddy  and Dr. Liu, Dean at Texas A&M University-San Antonio, exchanged the MoU, confirming that students would be trained and hired from the institute. Dr. K. Ashoka Reddy noted that this initiative enhances students' employability by equipping them with valuable technological skills and is also helpful for higher education in the US. 

The success of the ceremony was acknowledged by the  Dr. Liu, Dean at Texas A&M University-San Antonio, Dr. Vijay Golla , Vice Provost for Research and Health Sciences at Texas A&M University San Antonio, Ms. Ankita Chaturvedi, Regional Manager for India at Texas A&M University-San Antonio, Dr. Shanta Thoutam, proud alumnus of KITSW, a Gold Medalist in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering and KITS Warangal team consisting of Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, Registrar, Prof. M. Komal Reddy, Dean Academic affairs, Prof. K. Venumadhav and Industry Institute interaction cell (IIIC), Internships and MoUs, KITSW. 

In this regard former Rajya Sabha MP & KITSW Chairman, Capt. V.Lakshmikantha Rao, KITSW Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy & Husnabad constituency former  MLA & KITSW Additional secretary Vodithala Sateesh Kumar have congratulated and appreciated the principal, faculty and staff for getting MoU with the prestigious international American university-Texas A&M university. 

KITSW principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy extended his heartfelt thanks to Texas A&M University San_Antonio, USA for the initiative and for exchanging an MoU.  We will conduct training programs on advanced innovative technologies to build start-ups.   And they also organise guest lectures, design student projects, innovations, for the benefit of young budding engineers, he added.
