MLA Naini Rajender Reddy Supports Red Cross, Pledges Aid for Thalassemia Children

Local MLA Naini Rajender Reddy has extended his support to the Hanumakonda Red Cross Society by laying the foundation stone for a new office building. During the ceremony, he made several key commitments to improve the lives of those in need.

Key Highlights:

 * Support for Thalassemia Children: Reddy pledged to advocate for the inclusion of Thalassemia children in the disabled category, making them eligible for government pensions. He will discuss this matter with the Chief Minister to secure necessary approvals.

 * Red Cross Road Proposal: The MLA proposed renaming the main road in front of the Red Cross office as "Red Cross Road," drawing inspiration from the road in front of India's Parliament.

 * Advanced Medical Equipment: Dr. Veeramalla Charan Jeet Reddy, through the Bannu Aarogyada Seva Society, donated 10 advanced medical beds to the Red Cross Thalassemia Center.

 * Community Engagement: Reddy interacted with Thalassemia patients, understanding their health needs and distributing fruits.



 Mayor Gundu Sudharani:

Mayor Gundu Sudharani expressed her full support for the Red Cross's initiatives and pledged to work with the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) to implement the road renaming proposal. She also assured the Red Cross of her support in seeking government aid.

The Red Cross Society honored both the MLA and the Mayor for their contributions to the community. The organization also submitted a request for the allocation of residential plots or land at government rates, which Reddy promised to address with the District Collector.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including local Red Cross officials and community leaders.
