*KITSW Central Library Organised One Day workshop on SEAMLESS RESEARCH With IEEE Xplore held at KITS Warangal Campus*


The Central library, Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science Warangal (KITSW) organised "One day workshop on  SEAMLESS RESEARCH With IEEE Xplore: Accessing the Future of Technology" for the benefit of students as well as faculty said by the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy. 

It is sponsored by the IEEE  in collaboration  with EBSCO Information Services India Ltd. New Delhi.  It was inaugurated by the guest speaker, Telangana and Karnataka states IEEE training manager, M. S. Srinivasa in association with library committee chairwoman,  Prof. B. Ramadevi, Librarian Dr. K. Indrasena Reddy and staff by lighting lamps at Core Lab, administrative block, KITS warangal campus.  


On this occasion the guest speaker, Telangana and Karnataka states IEEE training manager, M. S. Srinivasa  highlighted about IEEE Xplore upgraded version, finding relevant information for literature/systematic review, basic and advanced search strategy to easily access the required content information, Finding the popular and latest information for their scholarly work, introduction of author digital tool box for aspiring researchers, publication recommender for new author, and Author profile account creation, better usage of digital services for upgrading innovative knowledge. He also urged the researchers and faculty to focus on the utility of central library advancevanced  facilities provided by the institute. He also demonstrated remote access for e-resources for the benefit of the learners to inculcate innovative, incubation and entrepreneurship culture and design the society needed projects.   


In this regard Librarian Dr. K. Indrasena Reddy said that our management has been providing latest library facilities like Digital library, reputed online national and international journals and 85,575 books with 16800 titles, back volumes and 6022,  e-books and 51, 000 online journals through AICTE Mandatory journals subscriptions.  


In this programme, dean academic affairs, Prof. K. Venumadhav, Library advisory committee chairwoman,  Prof. B. Ramadevi, EEE department Head, Dr. G. Rajender, Associate professor of chemistry & PRO, Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary,  staff, Dr. Arun, smt. Aruna, faculty Dr. Rajashekar, all the deans & HoDs, Faculty, library staff, 150 students were present.
