New Osmania Hospital Construction to Begin This Month
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to take necessary steps to lay the foundation stone for the new Osmania Hospital by the end of this month.
Rao held a review meeting with officials on Saturday at his residence to discuss the construction of the new hospital. He inquired about the proposed site at Goshamahal and instructed officials to transfer the land, currently under the police department, to the health department as soon as possible. He further directed officials to complete the land transfer process and other related tasks expeditiously.
Officials presented the Chief Minister with sample maps of the proposed structures at the site. Reddy suggested several modifications and additions to the designs. He emphasized that the new hospital should be equipped with all modern amenities and facilities. He also instructed officials to design the hospital keeping in mind future needs, such as roads, parking, mortuary, and other infrastructure.
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of future-proof designs to accommodate future developments like road expansions and flyovers. He also directed officials to ensure the hospital has green spaces and parks for the comfort of patients and their attendants.
CM instructed officials to prepare plans to make the new Osmania Hospital as advanced as corporate hospitals. He directed officials to finalize the complete designs for the hospital buildings and other structures, and to take necessary steps to lay the foundation stone by the end of this month.
