A Seminar on "Empowering Indian youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharath" on the eve of NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS HELD AT Civil Seminar Hall KITS WARANGAL
The departments of Physical Sciences (PS) in association with Centre for innovation incubation Research and Entrepreneurship (C-i2RE) & Innovations Innovation Council(IIC 6.O) Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science Warangal (KITSW) jointly organised A Seminar on "Empowering Indian youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharath" on the eve of National Science Day (NSD) at Civil seminar hall, KITSW campus said by the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy. Today, It was inaugurated by the chief guest, Professor, Department of Chemistry, NIT Warangal, Dr. Patri Venkata Srilakshmi.
On this occasion the chief guest, Professor, Department of Chemistry, NIT Warangal, Dr. Patri Venkata Srilakshmi highlighted the importance of science and technology. She narrated the latest research activities to meet new challenges and opportunities.
She has described some recent advances and applications of quantum computing, space engineering and astrobiology. She concluded that Science is the combination of the system of knowledge regarding solid, gas, liquid and biological domains.
The former Rajya Sabha Member,KITSW Chairman, Capt. V.Lakshmikantha Rao KITSW Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy & Husnabad constituency former MLA & KITSW Additional secretary Vodithala Sateesh Kumar have congratulated the department of physical sciences and organising team on successful conduction of the NSD-2025 event.
According to the Principal, Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, India has to start a 5 billion economy. Overnight it is not possible, hence committed efforts by the engineering student community are needed to make a career growth internship. He advised the students to come Up with innovative ideas, prototypes using facilities provided in the center for i2RE labs, patenting and entrepreneurial startups.
In this program Head, C-i2RE, Dr. K. Raja Narender Reddy, Head, Physical Sciences, Dr. H. Ramesh Babu, Head, M & H department, Dr. K. Shivashankar, Associate professors such as Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary, Dr. T. Madhukar Reddy, Dr. Ch. Sateesh Chandra, Faculty coordinator, Dr. E. Kalyan Rao & Dr P. Srinivas Rao, and KITSW NSS and PMC student representatives, faculty, staff, and more than 200 students were present.
