Ph.D. Awarded to Bejugama Sridhara Murthy, CSE (Networks) Faculty KITS Warangal
Bejugama Sridhara Murthy, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Networks) Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW), has been awarded Ph.D. degree by the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, Deemed-to-be University, Chennai said by the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy.
In a press note here on Saturday, KITSW Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy said that B Sridhara Murthy had submitted his Ph.D. thesis titled “ Deep Learning Model for Lung Cancer Diagnosis with Feature Extraction and Segmentation”. He did his research work under the supervision of Dr. B Selvapriya, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research , Deemed-to-be University, Chennai.
His research work is applicable to lung tumors detection and classification which improves the accuracy of lung cancer detection. This remarkable research work is highly aimed to detect lung tumors at early stages. In the journey of research, Sridhara Murthy has published 4 technical papers in the reputed international journals.
In this regard, the Former Rajya Sabha Member and KITSW Chairman Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer, P. Narayana Reddy & Husnabad constituency Former MLA & KITSW Additional secretary, Vodithala Sateesh Kumar & the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy has congratulated him for doing more applicable society needed research in the field of Image Processing and Machine Learning.
In this regard Registrar, Prof. M. Komal Reddy, Professor and Head CSE(Networks), Dr. V. Shankar, all the deans, all the heads, faculty, staff and Head, PSD, Associate Professor Of Chemistry, & PRO Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary congratulated him on being awarded a Ph.D. degree.
