Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Seeks Support from External Affairs Minister Jaishankar
New Delhi: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in Delhi on Thursday, requesting support for the state’s initiatives aimed at its long-term growth over the next 25 years.
During the meeting, CM Reddy discussed the upcoming international events to be hosted in Hyderabad in 2025, including Miss World, Global Deep Tech Summit, Bharat Summit, Animation, Gaming & VFX Conference, and India Joy—an event showcasing Telangana’s strength in the entertainment industry. He urged Minister Jaishankar to extend support for these events as part of promoting "Telangana Rising."
CM Reddy also requested the Ministry of External Affairs to help promote Telangana Rising in India's international engagements and assist with diplomatic and logistical support for the successful execution of these events in Hyderabad.
In response, Minister Jaishankar acknowledged Telangana’s position as a rapidly developing state and Hyderabad’s growth as a major city. He assured the Chief Minister that the ministry would provide the necessary support for these initiatives.
Former External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid, along with MPs Dr. Mallu Ravi (Nagarkurnool), Chama Kiran Kumar Reddy (Bhuvanagiri), and Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav, were also present at the meeting.
