Bonagiri Raju, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering(CSE), Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW), has been awarded Ph.D. degree by the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, Deemed-to-be University, Chennai said by the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy.

In a press note here on Tuesday, KITSW Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy said that Bonagiri Raju had submitted his Ph.D. thesis titled “Enhanced Deep Learning Model for Sentiment Analysis to Augment Consumer Experience on E-Commerce Platforms”. He did his research work under the supervision of Dr. B Selvapriya, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Bharath Institute of  Higher Education and Research , Deemed-to-be University, Chennai.

His research work is applicable of Sentiment analysis to understanding consumer opinions and improving e-commerce platforms by extracting insights from customer reviews, ratings, and feedback. The proposed approach enhances recommendation systems, refines product rankings, and aids businesses in making data-driven decisions, ultimately leading to an improved consumer experience on digital marketplaces. In the journey of research, Bonagiri Raju has published 4 technical papers in the reputed international journals.

In this regard,  the Former Rajya Sabha Member and KITSW Chairman Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer, P. Narayana Reddy  & Husnabad constituency Former MLA & KITSW Additional secretary, Shri Vodithala Sateesh Kumar &  the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy has congratulated him for doing more applicable society needed research in the field of  Image Processing and Machine Learning.
